Lassonde Industries Inc. develops, manufactures and markets an innovative and distinctive line of fruit and vegetable juices and drinks as well as specialty food products such as fondue broths and sauces, soups, sauces and gravies, canned corn-on-the-cob, bruschetta toppings, tapenades, pestos and sauces for pasta and pizza. Lassonde Industries Inc. imports selected wines from several countries of origin for packaging and marketing purposes. It also imports and markets olive oil. Nearly 1,300 employees contribute to the Company’s growth and to offering customers quality products.

The Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance to machinery, equipment and the facility in a safe a timely manner.

Key Activities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair high speed machinery and manufacturing equipment
Perform equipment changeovers and production line set ups in an accurate and timely manner
Perform preventative maintenance following schedules and procedures as required
Assemble, install and overhaul existing and new machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot, maintain and program PLC`s and PLC software and hardware controlled equipment and        machinery
Rebuild and fabricate parts
Perform building maintenance and maintain a clean and safe work area and environment
Adjust, repair or replace defective electrical parts and components
Complete assigned work orders and required maintenance and repair logs
Read and interpret diagrams, blue prints, schematics and operation manuals
Suggest improvement to existing equipment and maintenance procedures and practice
Perform all assigned duties following applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to:    Building and Electrical Codes, Environmental Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety etc…
Perform all other related duties as assigned by management

Required Education and Experience
Industrial Electrician License a must / Millright Mechanic is preferred
Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in the maintenance field, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of various legislations including but not limited to: Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations, Building and Electrical Codes, Environmental Act etc…

Required technical competencies
Strong mechanical, electrical and technical background
Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, adjusting and repairing manufacturing equipment
Experience with PLC programming is a must
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast paced environment.
Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMMS and other integrated computer software and computerized devices
Results orientated and able to work in a team based environment
Excellent organizational skills and ability to solve problems.

WEEK 1 – 12 Hour Shift  6:00 pm – 6:00 am     Mon-Tues-Sat-Sun

General Summary:

Develop sales in Ontario Region non-commercial accounts in branded and private labels for juice and food. The Key Account Manager will be working from their home based office in Ontario where the bulk of the business is generated.

Key Activities:

  • Manage the day to day work, meet and/or exceed sales & profitability objectives in the Ontario market with non-commercial accounts, through business development, innovation distribution and contract execution.
  • 70% of time will be spent on the road selling to operators and regional chains.
  • Work to expand the Ontario food service regional non-commercial accounts, to increase the list of Foodservice customers.
  • Develop the sales by presenting our existing and new products to the Ontario regional non-commercial chains.
  • Approach customers with concept and ideas that are solutions for their beverage and food needs in branded and private label
  • Work closely with Marketing Mondiv & Lassonde Specialties on new food items & work closely with Senior Director, National Accounts.
  • Work with National & Regional Key Account Managers to get the distributors listing compliance, work with the Ontario regional team for trade shows, customer presentations and account blitz
  • Communicate competitive information on industry

Education and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in similar position
  • B.Com (Business/Marketing or Finance)
  • Good knowledge of the foodservice and Healthcare industry (distributors, regional and national chains pertaining to health care segment and/or nutrition)


  • Demonstrates good general computer skills (Power Point, Word, Excel, etc)
  • Knowledge of CPG & Healthcare Industry
  • To have a good understanding of Lassonde Trade, Marketing, R&D, P&L and production process

The Category and Shopper Insights Manager will own the relationship for the assigned Sales Team and partner with the Director of Category Management to drive capabilities and insights across the broader organization. The CSIM will be a leader within the business and relied upon as an extension of the Director in identifying opportunities to grow our categories and our brand sales through creative analysis, problem-solving and tactical means. Cross-functional collaboration is a fundamental requirement of the role.

Key Activities:

  • Support the annual planning cycle including preparation of launch material and customer-specific selling stories.
  • Cultivate strong working relationship with Sales and Marketing while ensuring focus on strategic business objectives. Regularly engage with Sales to identify opportunities to drive growth and optimization at assigned accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to tighten working relationship with customers including the optimization of loyalty program performance (where applicable).
  • Coordinate with external partners to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of services (ie. Nielsen, DunnHumby, AIMIA, Aztec, AdDynamics, JDA) Support the research, development and implementation of winning stratégies
  • Support the ongoing training and development of internal resources to raise the bar internally on access and understanding of tools and analytics
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standard of quality in a timely fashion.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline combined with minimum 5 years analytic experience within Consumer Packaged Goods industry in the Category Management field.
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial style with a proven track record of identifying opportunities and driving results.
  • Experience leading teams, managing people and/or CPG Sales experience would be definite assets.


  • Proven ability to extract and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to both internal and customer stakeholders. Strong presentation, influencing and selling skills will be key to success.
  • Advanced understanding of Nielsen MarketTrack and other related Nielsen consumer tools.
  • Skilled with JDA Space Planning (or equivalent) with minimum 3 years’ experience in shelf optimization. Vendor Advisor experience within a National Account is a definite asset.
  • Advanced understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, Answers Desktop, JDA Space Planning, FeatureVision and Toolbox are necessary.
  • Oral and written competence in French will be an asset.
