1918 We open our first vegetable canning factory in Rougemont, Quebec.
1959 After more than 40 years in business, Lassonde shifts focus to the production of apple juice.
1970 We become specialists in the production of fruit drinks.
1977 Lassonde buys shares in Coopérative Montérégienne, another producer of apple juice in Rougemont.
1981 Acquisition of Produits Ronald in Saint-Damase, Quebec, a company specializing in the processing of corn on the cob.
1982 Pierre-Paul Lassonde, Chairman of the Board, and Jean-Paul Barré, President, create Lassonde Industries Inc., a holding company.
1987 Lassonde Industries Inc. becomes a public company with shares listed on the Montreal Stock Exchange.
1991 We open our second Canadian sales office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to better serve the Maritimes region.
1992 To better distribute our products in Ontario and Western Canada, Lassonde opens a third sales office in Toronto.
1993 Acquisition of Orange Maison Inc., a Montreal company specializing in the production of refrigerated fruit juices and fruit drinks.
1995 We sign a joint venture for the production of orange juice and tangerine juice in southern China.
1998 Lassonde signs an agreement with Southern Gardens, a leading Florida orange grower and processor.
1999 Our subsidiary, A. Lassonde Inc., acquires assets of a juice processing plant in Nova Scotia, as well as rights to the famous Allen’s brand.
2001 A. Lassonde Inc. signs a licensing agreement with a California company for the production and marketing of Sunkist® ready-to-drink fruit juices and fruit drinks.
2002 Our subsidiary, A. Lassonde Inc., acquires assets of Golden Town Apple Products Ltd, an Ontario company specializing in apple processing.
2003 A. Lassonde Inc. signs a licensing agreement with Sun-Maid Growers of California for the production and commercialization of a new product line in Canada.
2004 Our subsidiary, A. Lassonde Inc., acquires assets of Alfresh Beverages Canada Corp., a company specializing in the marketing of fruit juices and drinks and whose best-known trademarks are Everfresh, Sunlike, Fairlee, Tropical Grove, and Rich n’ Ready.
2006 We launch Arista Wines Inc., a new subsidiary specialized in the processing and distribution of imported wines.
2007 Lassonde purchases assets for the production and commercialization of ready-to-drink fruit juices and fruit drinks belonging to McCain Foods (Canada). We also acquire Les Produits alimentaires Mondiv inc., a plant in Boisbriand, Quebec that produces long-shelf-life specialty food products.
2009 Our subsidiary, A. Lassonde Inc., acquires Apple Valley Juice Corporation, a division of Dominion Citrus Limited located in Clarksburg, Ontario.
2011 We acquire Clement Pappas and Company, Inc., the second largest U.S. producer of store-brand fruit juices and fruit drinks and one of the largest producers of cranberry-based juices, drinks and sauces.
2014 We acquire Apple & Eve, LLC of Port Washington, New York, a major national-brand juice producer in the United States.
2015 Our Clement Pappas and Company, Inc, subsidiary is rebranded as Lassonde Pappas and Company, Inc.
